Herbal or herbal medicated oils are vegetable oils that have been infused with the properties of specific herbs and/or aromatherapy blends. They are applied externally and can impact the individual on very deep levels. The skin is the largest organ in the body and is semi-permeable. So when you apply herbal oils to the skin it is absorbed into the blood stream and routed through the body, completely bypassing the digestive system. Herbal oils are generally applied warm because this relaxes the nervous system and opens the pores, allowing the process to happen more efficiently. The smell of the oils can also impact the psyche very quickly as the olfactory senses stimulate the pineal gland almost instantaneously. Warm herbal oils can be applied directly to areas of the body as needed, used in the bath (1 teaspoon per bath), as an ayurvedic oil bath, and as a massage oil. Apply warm to your back, sides and chest to help open the lungs and sinuses—the oil will help relieve congestion and help whip any nasty infection. Great in a humidifier!
For children above 3 years of age apply only to their back and sides. For children under 3 years of age dilute with equal parts olive oil. Please call for directions for use for children under 9 months of age.

Herbal Decongestant Oil |

A more cooling blend than the Yoga Oil, however used in the same way. The cooling blend is highly effective as an anti-inflammatory to reduce swelling in addition to relieving aches and pains. For joints that tend toward swelling, tendinitis, and/or bruising this is the oil to use . Ingredients – Arnica Flowers (Arnica montana), Lavendin Flowers (Lavendula x intermedia), Rosemary Herb (Rosmarinus officinalis), White Willow Bark (Salix alba), Echinacea Flowers and Echinacea Root Tincture (Echinacea Angustifolia), St John’s Wart Herb (Hypericum perforatum), and infused in Apricot, Almond, and/or Olive oils with .Rosemary (Rosmarinous officinalis) , Helicrysum (Helichrysum angustifolium) German Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) and Roman Chamomile (Anthemis nobilis) essential oils. |

Yoga oil is specifically formulated too ease and energetically open problem areas of the body. Its warming action relaxes and sooths the muscles, tendons and joints, increasing circulation and helping to relieve tension, stiffness, soreness and discomfort. Yoga oil is especially useful when the problem is caused by contraction, constriction, and tension. Great for a message.
